Donald Lee Cole, age 70, of Gulfport, passed away on March 12, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. He was born on May 18, 1953 in Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Kay Cole; son, Ernest Cole; and his half brother.

Donald enjoyed being in the outdoors and being adventurous. He loved to play golf and go fishing and was always doing something.  His family meant everything to him and he was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  

Donald left Virginia at a young age and joined the Army where he served proudly for almost 4 years. After, being in the Army he settled on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where he met the love of his life Donna, and they were together for over 40 years. Donald began driving a truck and did that professionally for many years. After that, he finally retired and remained at home. Donald will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Donald is survived by his loving children, Chasity Cole (Richard McCaffrey), Donna Cole, and Joseph Lee Cole; and grandchildren, Alice, Roseabella, Ashton, and Aalyiah. Donald also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of friends and extended family.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Blvd, Biloxi MS 39531).
