Donald Ray Carver, Sr., age 70, and a lifelong resident of the Kiln, lost his battle with Lung Cancer on September 8, 2016.
Mr. Carver was born in Bay St. Louis and worked for International Paper for 35 years and later worked 10 years for Hancock County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron Leroy ""Bruce"" Carver and Eula Carver, his twin sister, Connie Richardson, 2 brothers, Leroy Carver and Larry Carver, and a grandson, Steven P. Hoda, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Cynthia Carver, 2 daughters, Leslie (Scott) Brecher, Jennifer (Ray) Faye, a son, Donnie (Rebecca) Carver, Jr., 6 grandchildren, Donavon Hoda, Frank (Lauren) Venezia, IV, Braxton Faye, Sawyer Carver, Emily Brecher, and Logan Brecher, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Louise Lee and Jewel Green, mother-in-law, Lillian Carver, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 1 - 3:30 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. The funeral service will be at 3:30 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Logtown Cemetery.
