Donald F. Carlson

Donald Frank Carlson, age 58 passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013, in Gulfport.
Mr. Carlson was a resident of Gulfport. He was an avid tennis player and a member of Bayou Bluff Tennis Club. He also enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and taking them swimming. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be sorely missed.
Mr. Carlson was preceded in death by his father, Carnot E. ""Coke"" Carlson.
Survivors include his wife, Suzette G. Carlson of Gulfport; his mother, Betty Carlson of Gulfport; children, Leah C. Taylor and her husband Deric L. Taylor of Loxley, AL; and Donald F. ""Sonny"" Carlson, Jr. of Gulfport; grandchildren, Deric Lane Taylor II, Jeb Carlson Taylor, and Jack Ryland Taylor, all of Loxley, AL; and siblings, Diana F. Pangburn of Priest River, ID; Daniel F. Carlson and Denis F. Carlson, both of Gulfport.
Visitation will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Long Beach on Thursday, February 7, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
