Donald Cardy, age 51, of Saucier, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at his residence.
Donald was a native of Iowa and has been a resident of the coast for the past few years. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a hard worker, having worked with underground cable with his dad and with a construction company in New York.
He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas E. Cardy, Sr. and his sister, Deborah Cardy.
Surivors include his mother, Phyllis Cardy; his daughter, Jennifer Doby and her husband Alex; his two sons, DJ Cardy and Douglas Cardy; his 6 siblings, Douglas Cardy Jr., Jeffrey Cardy & wife JoAnn, Ralph Cardy, John Cardy & wife DeAnn, Michael Cardy & wife Tammy, and Mary Cardy; two grandchildren, Alexis and Kalel Doby; and numberous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other loving family members and friends. Donald will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
There will be a private family viewing held; Friends and family are invited to a Time of Gathering & Luncheon at 3:30 p.m., Friday, September 13 at 18511 Peterson Road in Saucier.
