MSgt. Donald Adrian Bigras, U.S. Army, Ret., age 77, of D'Iberville, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Viola Bigras; and his brother, Percy E. Bigras, Jr.
Mr. Bigras is survived by his children, Suthichi ""Doi"" Bigras of Biloxi, David Bigras and and his wife, Delia, of D""Iberville, and Danny Bigras and Deanne of Menomee, WI; his sister, Shirley J. Harris and and her husband, Robert, of Sun City, FL; and his five grandchildren, Danielle Bigras, Zoya Falgo, Alexander Bigras, Aydan Bigras, and Derek Bigras.
He served in the U.S. Army, was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, and retired from military service after 27 years. He then worked in civil service for 11 years.
He was a loving father and grandfather who deeply cared for his grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi with a visitation for family and friends from 10:30 AM until the service. Burial with full military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
