Dolline Welch, age 73, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013.
Mrs. Welch was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Elois Pittman; 2 sons, Theo Welch and Glenn Welch; 3 sisters, Idella Thomas, Inez Sandifer and Geraldine Farlow; and 2 brothers, Jerry Pittman and Keith Pittman.
She is survived by her loving family; her husband of 30 years, Theo Welch; 7 children, David Hammett (Cathy), Kathleen Armstrong (Richard), Marie Wheaton, Alma Shordor, Terry Welch (Janet), Jimmy Welch and Belinda Welch; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Leroy ""Red"" Pittman (Peggy); and she was a mother and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was a caregiver to many and had a kind and compassionate heart. She will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery. Tributes and condolences may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com
