Dixie Marie Brady Krohn, age 84 of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019.
She was originally a native of Carriere, MS and Richton, MS.
Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. "Sam" Krohn; her mother, Forrestine Brady; her father, Perry Brady; and her sisters, Linda Harrison and Angela Brady.
She is survived by her 4 children, Brenda Krohn Williams and spouse David G. Williams of Gulfport, Debra Krohn Boyer and spouse Walter C. "Wally" Boyer of Biloxi, Dianne I. Krohn, and Charles O. "Buster" Krohn of Biloxi; grandchildren, D. Michael Williams of LasVegas, Derek A. Williams of Gulfport, Jared W. Williams of Gulfport, and Clifford K. Boyer of Biloxi; great grandchildren, Sylus A. Williams of Gulfport, Brooklyn N. Williams of Las Vegas; and other relatives, Beverly and Larry Bobinger and Family, Pinky and Dennis Von Asher and Family, Patty, Parham, and Robin Bridges, Chris and Rachel Bridges, Denise Smith and Family, and Harvey Harvison and Family.
Dixie enjoyed floral arranging, upholstery, sewing, baking, and being a student of the bible. She was a member of Handsboro United Methodist Church, Gulfport.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, and friend to all who knew her.
Thank you all for your prayers and support. We rejoice in the knowledge that she is reunited with Daddy in the arms of the Lord.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Handsboro United Methodist Church, 2333 Demaret Drive, Gulfport, with a visitation from 12:00 PM until the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
