On Wednesday, January 24, 2018 our beloved mother, Diann "Granny" Entrekin Young, of Long Beach, MS left this world to rest eternally with our Heavenly Father.
Granny was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester "Red" and Anna Mae Entrekin; her best friend and husband, Arnold "Buddy" Young.
She is survived by her loving children, Prentice "Scooter" (Cheryl) Ferrill, Diann Elizabeth (Dave) Hans; stepdaughter, Angie Young (Bob) Thompson; loving granddaughter, Skyler; grandsons, Michael, Jeremy, Christopher, Brandon and Caleb; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was a lifelong resident of Long Beach, MS. She worked many years for Pass Christian Industries, Regina Company, and retired from Triton Systems.
Granny cherished the memories and friendship from her many years with Triton. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and wit.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Coast Heart Institute, Memorial Hospital Cardiac Unit and I.C.U. for the dedicated care they provided to our mother.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach, with a visitation for family and friends from 12:00 PM until the service. Interment will follow at Long Beach City Cemetery.
