Diane H. Buchanan

Diane H. Buchanan, age 79, of Gulfport, passed away on January 19, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Buchanan; and her parents, Lloyd Herrin and Clariece Herrin.

She is survived by her children, Gay (Michael) Thompson and Lee (Christy) Buchanan); her siblings, Sandy (Tom) Graham and Rock (Michelle) Herrin; her grandchildren, Ashley (Johnny) Huckaby, Mike (Lyndsey) Thompson, Megann Thompson, Jenny (Logan) Stogner, Charlie (Faye) Walley, Holly (Josh) Stanford, Eddie Walley; 15 great-grandchildren, Casey and Lilly Huckaby, Michael III, Phillip, and Jacob Thompson, Hendricks Lee Gresham, Lorelai and Lainey Stogner, Chip and Lyla Walley, Johnathan Sanford Blake and  Eryn Walley, Matthew Thompson, and Isaac Thompson; and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Buchanan was a longtime resident of Woolmarket and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Humane Society of South MS, 2615 Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39501.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 10 – 11 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.  A memorial service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
