Diane LaFrance Allen, age 70, of Diamondhead, passed away on December 2, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Georgia and Edgar LaFrance and Ray Sleaman, 2 sisters, Johnine Wentworth Church, and Geraldine Lock, and an infant daughter, Mary Michaelean Allen.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, James Richard Allen Sr., her 2 children, Richie (Tracie Smith) Allen, and Georgeanne (Teddy) Badurak, 7 grandchildren, Hillary (David) Levens, Heather Allen, Christopher Allen, Zachary, Thad, Gavin, and Georgia Badurak, 6 great-grandchildren, Conner, Drew, Isabella, Hunter, Marlee, and Maylee, 2 sisters, Connie (Harry) Berry and Debbie (Ted) Cumberland, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that was devoted to her family. Mrs. Allen enjoyed cooking, working with flowers, and cooking.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd., Long Beach. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 am in the church.
Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to Pink Hearts Fund.
