Dennis Smith

Dennis Edward Smith, age 53, of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis was a lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis and the owner of D’s Drywall.

Dennis was a man who liked to joke around and bring humor and laughter to those around him. In his younger years, he loved drag racing. He always enjoyed fishing and crabbing especially with his children. He was at his happiest when he was with his family and friends. He was blessed to have some very special friends in his life that loved him like family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Smith; his father, Leodis Smith; and his brother, Ricky Smith.

He leaves behind his wife, Georganne Smith; his children, Joby, Owen and Ashley Smith; his siblings and their spouses, Karen (James) Burkes, Roxy Smith, Beverly Zimek, Regina Decrevel, Rhonda (Sid) LeBlanc, and Dexter (Melissa) Smith; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and some very special friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian, MS at 9AM with services at 10AM. Burial will take place afterward at Breland Cemetery in Leetown, MS.
