Delores Rouse MacFarland, age 92, of Gautier, passed away on February 21, 2025, at Elite Home Care in Gulfport.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott MacFarland; son, Rodney Rouse; mother, Fanny May Holmes; and father, Allen James Holmes.

Delores is survived by her sister, Violet Ann Bain and her spouse, Nathan Earl Bain; and nieces, Devonna Hamilton (James) of Biloxi and Leeanne Reimer (Paul) of Odessa, FL.

Delores was a resident of Gautier and formerly worked as a Senior Designer at Ingalls Shipbuilding. She also owned a ceramics shop in Gautier, where she was known as an accomplished artist. She won many awards in local arts contests and taught art classes, leaving a lasting impact on her community.

She was a very active and true Southern Magnolia lady, deeply devoted to her family. Delores practiced charity by generously providing clothes and food to those in need. She was a faithful Christian, and her family finds peace in knowing she was ready to go home to be with her loved ones who had gone before her.
