Delores Mae Blackwell Jesclard, age 79, passed from this world to the next in the arms of one of her beloved grandsons, C. 'Timmy' Rogers III, on Friday, May 17, 2013.
Born on April 12, 1934, to Brown and Anna Mae (Saucier) Blackwell of Saucier, she spent almost all of her life along the Gulf Coast. For a short time, after Hurricane Katrina, she resided near St. Louis, MO. For the past three years she resided with her oldest son, Charles Timothy ""Tim"" Rogers, Jr. and his wife, C. J. ""Jaimie"" Wiles-Rogers, grandsons; Joseph Lee Causey-Rogers, Sr. (and wife Rebecca Ann Causey-Rogers), Charles Timothy ""Timmy"" Rogers III, Steven Daniel Mossburg-Rogers, and William Nevin Mossburg-Rogers (and wife Mandee Rhea Mossburg-Rogers), granddaughters AimeeRuth Elaine and Esther Elizabeth Causey-Rogers, great-grandsons Cobin Daniel Mossburg-Rogers, Joseph Lee Causey-Rogers, Jr., Kamden Cruz Causey-Rogers, and great granddaughter Skyla Rose Mossburg-Rogers on East Wortham Road in Saucier, Mississippi. She is also survived by her grandson Matthew Causey (and wife Carrie), and great-granddaughters Anya and Abby Causey of Brea, Kentucky, her daughter Judy Causey-Yocum (and husband Rick Yocum) of Hillsbourgh, Missouri, granddaughter Bobbi Jo Weible, great-granddaughter Maddy of Springfield, Missouri, and grandson Thomas Weible of Festus, Missouri. She is also survived by her brother Harold (and wife Helen) Blackwell of Saucier, and sisters Wilma Scarpelli of Scranton, PA, and Norma Francis Jenkins of Jackson, MS, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her youngest great-grandson Jacob, son Anthony, parents Anna Mae and Brown, brothers Noel and Bernard, sister Elizabeth, and other loved ones. Ms. Delores attended Crosspoint Church in Gulfport, MS along with her eldest son's family.
A Life Celebration Memorial will be held at Crosspoint Church at 15046 North Swan Road in Gulfport, MS 39503 on Saturday May 25, 2013 12 PM. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to Gulf Coast Women's Resource Center or Crosspoint Church be made in her name.
