Della Tubbs

Della Ree Tubbs, age 91, a native of Double Springs, AL, but currently lived in Saucier, MS, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, James Tubbs, when he passed away on January 24, 2016; her sisters, Stella Harris, Ella Jayne Montgomery; a brother, Clarence Whisenhunt; her mother, Angelina Lizzie Whisenhunt; and her father, Joseph Andrew Whisenhunt.
She is survived by her siblings, Vella Mae Falls, Dean Williams, Elsie (Don) Layton; nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
Ms. Della was a secretary for her husband's business; James Tubbs Logging and Trucking Co. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and gardening. She and James together loved fishing, boating and jet skiing; they traveled throughout the country including Hawaii and Alaska. They will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved them.
A memorial service will be held for both Della Ree Tubbs and her late husband, James on Friday, January 6, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport beginning at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
