Debra ""Debbie"" Abrams Childers, age 56, of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012.
Debbie was born in Ohio and was a resident of the Coast since 1988. She was a former employee of the Isle and IP where she was a floor supervisor. For the last five years, she worked at Quality Inn in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alan Hunninghake.
She is survived by her husband, George ""Pat"" Childers of Gulfport; children, Tia Norman of OH, and Lucinda Abrams of OH; sister, Bobbie Samson of Franklin Furnace, OH; grandchildren, Jason Abrams, Isaiah Abrams, Jaquay Kates, Ariah Gibson, and Michelle Kleinman; stepdaughters, Tiffany Huber of Mobile, AL, and Theresa Kleinman of Vicksburg; and an extended family.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, at 4:00 p.m. Friends may visit 30 minutes prior to services. Burial will be at Biloxi National at a later time.
