Deborah "Debbie" Laursen

Deborah “Debbie” Laursen, 70 of Diamondhead, MS passed away peacefully at her home on October 19, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on March 1, 1953 in Bossier City, LA to Charles & Doris Sellers.  She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Sellers.

Debbie enjoyed being in the outdoors and going fishing.  She was a devoted Christian by faith.  Debbie had a sense of adventure for traveling and seeing new places.  She also a enjoyed decorating and especially during the holidays.  Debbie always was up for going out and trying new places to eat.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Gary Laursen; son, Matt Laursen; grandson, Boston Laursen; and Mother, Doris Sellers.  Debbie also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of friends and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Riemann Funeral Home – Kiln Chapel (9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian).  She will be laid to rest at a later date alongside her father at Forest Cemetery in Forest, Louisiana.
