Dayton Collins

Dayton Robert Collins, 84, passed away March 5, 2014 in Pass Christian. He was born January 23, 1930 to the late Aubrey Collins and Julia Gertrude Parker. He was a faithful deacon of Antioch Baptist Church of Long Beach.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lou Hartfield, sister, Lois Collins, brothers, Donald Hugh, Earl and Clyde Collins, granddaughter, Stephanie Williams.
He is survived by wife, Dorothy Allen Collins, daughters, Lois Williams(Wallace), Patricia Joyner(Mike), son, Robert Dayton Collins, Jr.(Tonya),brothers, Gilbert Collins(Jean),Nolan Laverne Collins,6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, March 8 at Antioch Baptist Church of Long Beach with a visitation Friday, March 7 from 5:00 till 8:00 pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.
