Davina Leigh McCullick June 2, 1971 August 24, 2026 Davina Leigh McCullick, 55, a native of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. 

Davina was preceded in death by her father David Lee McCullick. She is survived by her mother, Eve Gibbons and stepfather, Walter Gibbons; her siblings, Genny Kennedy, Donnie Burrill, Patrick Burrill, and Mari-Ellen Pack; her step siblings Robin Binder, Brian Gibbons and Keith Gibbons; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other loved ones who will miss her dearly.

 Davina was a graduate of St. John’s High School in Gulfport and The University of Florida in Pensacola, Florida, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She worked for Global Financial and Walmart throughout her career. Davina was a quiet person with a gentle spirit and a fiercely loyal heart. She was a lifelong lover of movies and music and had a deep and unwavering love of animals, especially dogs. 

She also enjoyed traveling and cruises, creating memories along the way. Davina cared deeply about people and believed strongly in the freedom to live authentically and celebrate who they were. She accepted people without judgement and wanted everyone to have the freedom to be themselves. She was not one to speak badly of others; instead, she carried a kindness and acceptance that touched the people around her. 

Those who knew Davina will remember her quiet strength, loyalty, compassion and the genuine love she had for people and animals. Though she may not have been the loudest person in the room her presence, her values and her love will remain with those fortunate enough to have known her. 

Davina leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of kindness that will continue through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
