David T. Sheff, born on August 21, 1948, departed this life on January 31, 2026. A proud veteran, David dedicated 30 years of his life to the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Technical Sergeant and served with honor during the Vietnam War. His commitment to service and his country was matched only by his generous spirit and passion for life.

David was an exceptional individual known for his remarkable skills as an engine guru and carburetor master. His love for automobiles, particularly GM vehicles, was evident throughout his life. He found immense joy in attending car shows and races, often in pursuit of speed and performance. David’s enthusiasm for drag racing reflected his adventurous nature and his belief in pushing boundaries.

He leaves behind a son, Josh Sheff (Amy), who has fond memories of their time together. David is preceded in death by his parents. 

A visitation will be held at Riemann Family Funeral Home in Biloxi, Mississippi, on February 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at noon. Following the service, David will be interred at Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.

David T. Sheff was not just a veteran and a car enthusiast; he was a man of deep character and warmth who touched the lives of those around him. His legacy of courage, generosity, and zest for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
