David Burns Lindh, age 87 passed away Monday, January 31, 2017 in Gulfport.
David was born and raised in Gulfport, MS in the small community of Fernwood. He was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Christina Lindh; his wife, Elizabeth Lindh; and his sisters, Elsie Dean, Elizabeth Lee, Shelia Brown, and Jenny Carrella.
He will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
David served in the U.S. Army and Civil Service at the Gulfport VA, and was the owner of Starlite Trailer Park. He was a philanthropist, and an avid fisherman and hunter.
David was a very generous man and loved his country, friends, and family. He always considered himself very fortunate living a full and happy life, believing in giving forward, and he did. We will miss you "Unk" - thanks for the memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to your favorite charity of choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi.
