David Lee Gale

David Lee Gale, 48 passed away suddenly at home on November 26, 2013.
David was born on November 27, 1964 to Elizabeth (Barber) Gale and the late William E. Gale in Ottawa, Illinois. He was a lifelong member of Harding United Methodist Church of Harding, Illinois. He was educated in the Unit 2 school district in Serena, Illinois.
David joined the United States Navy Seabees. He learned his trade of diesel mechanics which he had mastered over the years. He was employed by the Rocking C of Gulfport at the time of his death.
David was preceded in death by his father, William Gale and one brother, Dwayne. He was also preceded by both maternal and paternal grandparents.
David was a devoted father and grandfather. He was also a loved son and brother.
David is survived by his children and grandchildren: Jarod (Jessica) Gale and their son, Oliver of Sycamore, Illinois, Roxanne Gale and her daughters Nevaeh and Janiya Boose of Gulfport, and Devon Gale and his daughter Daijiana of Gulfport.
He is also survived by his mother Elizabeth Gale of Gulfport; two brothers Darrell (LaDonna) Gale and Duane Gale; one sister Deborah Gale; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and longtime friends. He will be sadly missed by all.
