David Eugene Caylor

David Eugene Caylor, age 58, died September 29, 2013. David was a resident of Long Beach, MS for 45 years. He was a veteran who served as a nuclear submarine instructor during his tour in the Navy. After being discharged from the service, he continued to work on aircraft carriers of the 7th fleet of the Pacific Ocean during the Iranian crisis of the 1980's.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Sherrie; his stepdaughter, Elizabeth Pekarek; and his father, Eugene Caylor. David is survived by his mother Juliette W. Caylor; children, Tricia Schmitt (Leon) of Muscle Shoals, AL and Matt Caylor (Terri) of Birmingham, AL; stepchildren, Mike Pekarek and Tim Pekarek (Fabiolia) both of San Diego, Ca.; siblings, Valerie Caylor, Judy Noble and Kathie Farrell (
Bobby) all of Long Beach, MS, Robert Caylor (Sonya) of Gulfport, MS, and Michael Caylor (Nita) of Brandon, MS; 8 Grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews.
