David Charles Carleton

David Charles ""Dave"" Carleton, age 69, of Ocean Springs, passed away on October 7, 2014.
He was preceded in death by parents, Nancy M. and Charles R. Carleton, 2 brothers, Dean Carleton and Tommy Carleton.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Carleton, his son, Brian Carleton, 2 sisters, Debbie Sheer, and Linda Brown, and other relatives and friends.
He served in the U.S Army during the Korean War and the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He later retired after 30 years of service from Keesler AFB where he served as an Instructor and was responsible for curriculum development. Mr. Carleton was an avid supporter of youth and always adopted Mrs. Windham's first grade class at St. Martin East Elementary. He enjoyed ""Crusin"", fishing, and collecting antique cars.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 10, 2014, from 10:30 - 11:30 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi, MS. The funeral service will be at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
