David Ray Aldridge, a dedicated and skilled Drywall Master Craftsman, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, in Hancock County, Mississippi, at the age of 66. Born on December 13, 1958, in Kankakee, Illinois, David was a proud alumnus of Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School, where he laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to his craft.

With over 35 years of experience, David was renowned in his field, respected not just for his craftsmanship but also for the strong work ethic and integrity he exemplified throughout his career. His contributions to numerous projects left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Outside of his professional life, David led a vibrant and active lifestyle. He found immense joy in karaoke, where he shared his love for music and performance with friends and family. His passion for bowling and fishing brought him much happiness, creating cherished memories with loved ones along the way.

David is survived by his girlfriend of four years, Sandra Williams, who was a significant part of his life. He is also survived by his daughters, Mary (Doug) Carter of Picayune, MS, and Victoria Aldridge of Kennesaw, GA, as well as his stepdaughter, Jennifer Thacker of Cortland, NY. He leaves behind beloved brothers Thomas "Tommy" Aldridge, Terry (Lisa) Davis, Larry (Patty) Davis, and Tracy (Jeanette) Rivera Cruz, who will carry forward his legacy. David especially adored his grandchildren, Douglas M. Carter Jr., Aidan H. Carter and Cecile A. Carter all from Picayune, MS.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Aldridge, formerly of Baton Rouge, LA, who he cherished deeply. He also mourned the loss of his parents, Hubert Wayne Aldridge resided in Bradenton, FL and Mary Alice Carmain, who resided in Bay St. Louis, MS, and two brothers, Stephen Aldridge, Gary "Gert" Davis and his stepson, Ronald "Ronnie" Thacker, of Baton Rouge, LA.

David Ray Aldridge's warmth, craftsmanship, and vibrant spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, family, and dedication to his work will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
