Darrol Mitchell

Darrol Eugene Mitchell, 86, passed away in Gulfport, Mississippi on June 11 ^th , 2019.  Darrol was born on April 20 ^th , 1933 to Robert Levi Mitchell and Ruth Ada (Parmley) Mitchell in Benton County, Arkansas.
Mr. Mitchell was a Navy veteran and built a rich life with his family.  He was a boy scout troop leader, a softball coach, and a band parent.  Darrol worked as a city inspector for the City of Broken Arrow in Oklahoma and he retired from Rockwell International, where he worked as a scheduler.  He enjoyed fishing and listening to country music.
Darrol is preceded in death by both parents and his wife, Cheryl Mitchell.
Darrol is survived by his four children, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; daughter, Terri (Mitchell) Stephens and husband, Lewis; granddaughter, Chelsea Zimmerman and husband, Eric; and great-granddaughter, Emily; son, Mike Mitchell and wife, Stacey; grandson, Jonathan; daughter, Tracy (Mitchell) Jackson; grandsons, Matthew and Jarod, and granddaughter, Kacy; and daughter, Tonya (Mitchell) Gibbs and husband, Frank; and grandchildren, D'Andre, D'Kota, D'Kenzie, and D'Markus Gibbs and Rachael Washington.
