Darrell Luther Mitchell

Graveside services for Darrell Luther Mitchell who passed away December 2nd at 89 years old, born January 27, 1924, will be held Thursday, December 5th, at New Palestine Cemetery, Picayune, MS, at 2:00 pm for family and friends.
A retired army veteran, who served in World War II, Battle of the Bulge and the Korean Conflict, loved his country and his family. Member of Roseland Park Baptist Church, Darrell was preceded in death by parents Luther and Mable Mitchell, sisters Hilda Winstead, Mary Y. Carroll, Frances Bennett, Beth Cooley, Dorothy, Sybil and Sylvia Mitchell. Darrell was survived by brothers Carl Mitchell of San Antonio, Texas and Ronnie Mitchell of Picayune, MS, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The joyful reunion in heaven brings comfort to the grieving family.
