Mr. Darrell Craig Boe', Sr., age 54, of Slidell, passed away on January 21, 2013, in Slidell.
An only child, Mr. Boe' was born in New Orleans to William Clarence Boe', Jr. and Darlene Arnel Boak Boe'. He graduated from Slidell High School and Louisiana State University. He earned his licenses in Landscape Architecture and General Contracting. He was licensed in Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. In addition to living in Slidell, he and his wife lived in Destin, FL for 13 years, where he practiced his trade. Upon their return to Slidell from Destin, he worked as an independent landscape contractor. He loved the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints and classic cars. He enjoyed painting landscapes and sharing those with family. His work and hobbies were centered around using his hands. A very selfless person, he will be remembered for being patient, loving, and kind, and one who dearly loved his wife and family. He was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Rebecca ""Becky"" Ball Boe' of Slidell; his mother, Darlene Boe' of Slidell; his children, Chantell, P.J., Robert, Rachael, and Amanda; and 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at St. Peter's by the Sea Episcopal Church, 15th Street, Gulfport, MS, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Friends will be received in the parlor in the parish hall.
Funeral services will be held in the church sanctuary at 3:00 p.m.
Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
