Darra Danay Cheveallier

Darra Danay Cheveallier, age 29, of Gulfport, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, with love and support of family and friends.

Darra was born November 2, 1993, to Darrell E. Cheveallier and Robin L. Cleveland. Darra lived in Gonzales throughout her childhood. She attended school in Ascension Parish, including East Ascension Highschool as well as Dutchtown High School. Later in life, Darra moved to Portland, Oregon. She later completed medical assistant certification.

She was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Darra was a wonderful mother and beautiful daughter. She enjoyed time with family and friends. Darra had a great love of animals large and small. She loved music, travel, and great Louisiana food, as well as her time spent at the camp with her dad and friends. She loved motorcycles and fast cars.

Darra is survived by her mother, Robin Cleveland; daughter, Meadow Wesley; sister Rayna Sam (Nick); nephew, Blayne; niece, Nya; grandmother, Sylvia Gonzales; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Cheveallier; uncles, Robert Cheveallier and Todd Cleveland; grandfather, Tyrone Cleveland; and grandparents, Charles and Jean Cheveallier.
