Daniel was the owner and operator of Walker Small Engine in Saucier, where he built a reputation for quality work and a devotion to customer service. Alongside his business, he enjoyed being an educator for over ten years, imparting knowledge and guidance to many students throughout his career. His commitment to education reflected his belief in the power of learning and personal growth.

He was known for his sage advice, reminding those around him to "stay humble and kind" and to "not worry about something you can't take care of right now."
