Daniel Lamar Vickery

Daniel Lamar Vickery, born on September 12, 1981, in Ocean Springs, MS, and passed away unexpectedly in Pascagoula MS, on Saturday, June 8, 2024.  Age 42.

Daniel led a fulfilling life as a Land and Construction Surveyor, showcasing his dedication and precision in his work. He was a graduate of Ocean Springs High School Class of 2000, where he found joy in music by playing the trumpet, being part of a jazz band and playing his guitar alone and with friends.

Apart from his professional life, Daniel had a multitude of hobbies and interests that brought him immense happiness. He was an avid gardener who took pleasure in nurturing flowers and vegetables. He also enjoyed strumming his guitar and in his younger days, playing soccer in the local city league.

Daniel's family and friends meant the world to him. He is survived by his parents, Mike Vickery and Julia Vickery; his sister Karen (Chris) Landrum, his brother Paul Vickery, nieces Allysa (Andy) Dang, Gabby Fountain and nephew Ethan Fountain.  Along with aunts, uncles; Susan (Craig) Wiese, Wayne (Linda) Fancher Jr., Larry (Linda) Vickery.  Several cousins Kim Wiese, Meredith Beth (Sean) Massar, Shannon Wiese, Wayne (Shandis) Fancher III, Paul (Shanna Kaye) Fancher, Jennifer (Trey) Fancher Crandall, Jamie Vickery, Timothy Vickery, Shea Vickery, Kelly Vickery, Pat Vickery, Laurie Vickery Edwards and Kim Vickery.  All who cherished him deeply.

In this time of grief and remembrance, we remember Daniel for his kindness, passion for life, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be dearly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

May we find solace in the beautiful memories shared with Daniel and keep his spirit alive in our hearts forever. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, West Jackson County, from 4:00 PM until the time of services at 6:00 PM, with his uncle Wayne Fancher Jr. officiating.
