Daniel Glenn "Dan" Hitchings

Dan Hitchings, 59, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in New Orleans, LA. He was a dedicated family man and always put everybody before himself. He was a master mechanic who loved to work and was loved by all. He proudly served 22 years as a Navy Seabee CMC.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy D. Hitchings.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Hitchings of Gulfport; 2 sons, Jason Hitchings of Gulfport, Jerrett Hitchings (Rachel) of Gulfport; Carrie Hitchings of Gulfport; mother Eda Hitchings of Gulfport; four grandchildren, Conner, Ashton , Gavin and Aven; one brother, Mike and one sister, Pat; his beloved dogs, Rocky, Cramer and Chance; many friends and family.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
