To his family his home was everyone's second home. He was the rock of the family. Everyone and anyone could count on him. He is leaving his loving wife of 38 years, Gwendy Cole, sons, Scotty, Mikey, and Wyatt Cole, his granddaughters, Cara and Kelly Cole. He is also leaving his mother, Dolores Cole, his sister, Kathy Cole Boyes, and brother, Patrick Cole, his beloved aunt, Pat Cole Wilson of Pearlington, MS and Barbara Thigpen of Vicksburg, MS and numerous nieces and nephews.
Danny grew up on Army bases around the world, including Heidelberg, Germany and Okinawa. He was an honor graduate of Long Beach High School and continued his education at the University of Southern Mississippi earning a degree in Industrial Engineering. He was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church. He was employed by Northrop Grumman and Huntington Ingalls for the past 20 years.
Danny was very active in his family's lives. He coached soccer and t-ball teams for his sons. He enjoyed fishing with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. His favorite past time was Mardi Gras and was a longtime member of the Krewe of Kommotion. He was very competitive and tried to out throw everyone on the float and usually succeeded. But his all time favorite activity was spending time with his beautiful granddaughters, Cara and Kelly. They were the loves of his life. The blessing in his life was his little man Wyatt.
