Daniel Lee Coffman

Daniel Lee Coffman, age 80 of D'Iberville, died suddenly on Monday, July 11, 2016, while vacationing in Rapid City, SD.
Dan served 4 years in the Navy on the SS Hammerburg, 16 years in the Air Force, worked for Ingal's Shipbuilding in Pascagoula for a short time before retiring from the Civil Service after 20 years.
After being stationed at KAFB in 1968, he decided to stay and raise his family here on the coast. After Hurricane Katrina, he traveled the country full time in his motor home.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lillian Coffman; two sisters, Sara and Silvia; one brother, Lex; and his wife, Gail Coffman.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sharon Coffman; his sons, Aaron Coffman (Cathy), David Coffman; his daughters Robin Stanfield and Donna Blauser (Mike); his grandchildren, AshleyCampbell, Logan Coffman, Danielle Miller, Justin Bogart, David Coffman, and Whitney Stanfield; Seven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016, at 3:30 pm, with visitation for friends from 3:00 pm until service time at, RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, at the corner of Washington Ave., Ocean Springs.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to, American Institute for Cancer Research,1759 R Street NW, Washington DC, 20009 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Ste. 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256
