Dana Christine "Chris" Covacevich

Dana Christine “Chris” Miller Covacevich, age 57, passed away on July 23, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Miller; grandmother, Irma Durbin and grandfather, Albert Moreau.

Chris is survived by her son, Anthony Covacevich and Anthony’s father, T.J. Covacevich; her mother, Sandra Cuevas; her aunt, Vickie Wimans and her long time friend, Steve Castleberry.

She found her greatest joy in spending time with her beloved son, Anthony, who was the light of her life. Known for her vibrant personality and infectious laugh, she brought warmth and kindness to everyone who knew her.

A lifelong animal lover, Chris had a special place in her heart for cats. She was a devoted volunteer with the Coalition of Feral Cats, often seen feeding and caring for the community cats along the Ocean Springs beach.

Chris dedicated many years of service to Biloxi Public Schools, retiring as a registrar. Her commitment and professionalism left a lasting impact on colleagues and students alike.

In keeping with Chris’ wishes, no formal service will be held at this time.
