Dale Ray Woodcock, age 57, of Long Beach, MS, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013.
Mr. Woodcock was born in Gulfport to Huey P. and Jacqueline Malley Woodcock and was named after two of his father's school buddies. He was a painter by trade and had many hobbies. He loved camping, fishing, playing guitar and spending time outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph ""Scotty"" Woodcock, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Clinton and Mamie S. Woodcock; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Nolia Shiyou Malley; uncles, Kenneth A. Woodcock, Donald Jack Woodcock, Kenneth Wade Malley, and Jimmy Malley; and his aunt Millie Woodcock Christovich.
He is survived by his loving companion, Bonnie Callahan of Long Beach; parents, Huey P. Long Woodcock and Jacqueline Mary Malley Woodcock of Pass Christian; children, Monica Allen (Jimmy) of Biloxi, Stephanie Ladner (Kenric) of Kiln, Jennifer Woodcock (Wayne East) of Saucier, Huey P. Long Woodcock, II, of Long Beach, and Crockett Woodcock (Jordan Hoda) of Kiln; 6 grandchildren, Arieonna, Kathan, Chase, Sierra, Shyla, and Cayden; siblings, Timmy Woodcock (Denise) of Kiln, April Perkins (Tony) of Kiln, and Randy Darty of Long Beach.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, from 10 am until 1 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 pm.
Entombment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
