On the day Dakota was born, the angels smiled. On the day Dakota rejoined them, they rejoiced. Never meeting a stranger, everyone was greeted with conversation and a smile he was never without. Even if someone didn't want to laugh, he loved telling stories and dumb jokes, always wanting to make sure everyone was ok before himself. No matter where or how far away someone was, he'd walk miles just to wrap his arms around them and give a big hug. He loved being his sister's protector, his mom's biggest pain in the rear and most of all, he loved his family more than anything. He was an avid fisherman and a duck hunting fool. Recently becoming a tiktok fan gave way to the decal (which he was proud of) on his truck. Dakota would be saying, "don't cry for me, keep your head up, and always try to do good." He will be missed more than he could fathom and will forever be his mom's first true love.
