Daisy Switzer Thuet, 94, of Gulfport died Saturday, April 8, 2006 in Long Beach.
She was a native of Handsboro and lived most of her life on the coast. Mrs. Thuet was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and paul Revere Chapter #214 Order of the Eastern Star, St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death byher husband, Norman Thuet; step-daughter, Sally Emory; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin T. Switzer; 3 brothers: Earl I. Switzer, Curtis Switzer, and Spencer Switzer.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Kippenberger, Riverside, CA and 1 brother, John W. Switzer, Gulfport; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Inc., Three Rivers Rd. Chapel. Friends may visit from 12 noon until service time.
Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
