Cynthia Woodcock

Cynthia Carter Woodcock, age 52, of Gulfport, passed away on May 10, 2013 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Burris; her grandparents, Edward and Nettie Carter; her parents in law, Clinton and Mamie Woodcock; and a niece, Crystal Carter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Thomas H. Woodcock, Sr of Gulfport; her parents, Arthur and Joyce Carter of Saucier; three children, Melissa Maddox (Ricky, Jr) of Birmingham, AL, and Amanda Woodcock and Thomas H. Woodcock, Jr, both of Gulfport; two grandchildren, Lillian Maddox and Lucille Maddox; two brothers, William Carter and Nick Carter, both of Gulfport; her grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Burris of Hanson, KY; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was of the Methodist faith. She received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and worked as a case manager at the Gulf Coast Mental Health Center. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed gardening.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery.
