Curtis Paul Falks, age 82 and a resident of Long Beach, died on April 22, 2016, in Long Beach.
Mr. Falks was a native of Winnsboro, LA and a longtime resident of Long Beach. He served in the US Army during the Korean War time. Mr. Falks retired from Republican Finance in Biloxi after 24 years of service. He was also very active in the Dixie Youth Baseball League in Long Beach and helped construct O'Malley Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Janie Temple Falks; his brothers, Jesse Falks and Clines Falks and his sister, Earline McNamee.
Mr. Falks is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carol Ann Herbert Falks; his children, Cindy (Earl) Levens, Tommy (Cheral) Falks, Pat (Mike) Brown, David (Vicki) Falks and adopted daughter, Cheryl (Mike) Hicks; his sisters, Ruby Wadford of Jackson, Marie Moore of Raymond, and Jean (C.O.) Kynerd of Long Beach; 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at 11:00am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach.
