Cora Pool Meadows, resident of Diamondhead, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014.
Mrs. Meadows was born in Kilbourne, LA, to Wesley and Evie Toney Pool. She was a three time All-State basketball player in high school. She was an undefeated coach in youth basketball and was an avid golfer, with a six handicap at her best. She was a retired real estate agent and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest R. Meadows; her daughter, Cathy McMichael; her parents; her siblings, Ben Pool and Earline O'Neal.
She is survived by her son, Doug Corley (Terri) of Ridgeland, MS; son in law, Joe McMichael; and grandchildren, Maggie Corley Rider (Jeremy) of Fort Rucker, AL, and Bryan McMichael, of San Antonio, TX.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at RIEMANN FAMIY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, from 9-11 am. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 11 am.
Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
