Cora Lee Crosby, born on November 9, 1942, in Poplarville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, in Picayune, Mississippi. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing.

Cora dedicated much of her working life to quality control at Oreck Vacuum manufacturing. She was a woman of great love and selflessness, best known as a devoted mother who cherished her children deeply. She lived joyfully for Christmas, teaching all her children the treasured traditions that made the season special. Alongside her family life, she found happiness working in her flower beds, nurturing life and beauty from the soil. Above all, her greatest joy and strength came from her faith in God. Cora lived her daily life with a spirit of praise, often saying, "Praise God, Praise God, Praise God."

Cora is remembered by her loving children: Donna Floyd (Walter), Ray Crosby, Cheryl Tenney (Gary), Kevin Crosby (Ellen), Wayne Crosby (Lou), April Parker (Paul), and David Crosby. She also leaves behind her sister, Jane Austin. Her family extended to many grandchildren, including Faith, Hope, Charity, Joy, Ray, Joseph, Jeremy, Alyssa, Drew, Brayden, Sarah Jo, Nicole, Kyle, Dylan, Casey, Cody, Colton, Carly, Kayla, Savanah, Rachel, Stephan, Michael, Samantha, Ryan, Hailey, Hollie, Brasen, and Bralynne. Beyond them, she touched the lives of thirty-five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her loving legacy.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Edna Parker; her daughter-in-law, Lea Ann Crosby; and her siblings Johnie Smith, James Edward Parker, Linda Malley, John Parker, and Joe Parker.

Visitation for Cora Lee Crosby will be held on June 6, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of the King in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, located at 317 Reese Street. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM with Frank Griffin officiating. Burial will take place afterwards at Gardens of Memory, 630 Central Avenue, Bay St. Louis, beginning at 3:00 PM and concluding by 4:00 PM.

Cora’s family and friends will remember her as a selfless mother, a faithful woman, and a loving soul who lived each day with kindness and purpose. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
