Cora Suarez Brooks, age 75, a native of the Philippines, a 10 year resident of New Brockton, AL and a former resident of the Gulf Coast passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Brooks; her parents, Jesus and Londrada Suarez; and her mother-in-law, Ruth Hickson.
Cora is survived by her children, Edgar Suarez, William S. Brooks, and Michael H. Brooks; her brother, Fedirico Suarez; her grandson, Phillip Suarez; her niece, Chona Wait; and her friend, Ronald Munson.
Cora was a graduate of San Jose Recollitos University and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Memorial Contributions can be made in Cora's honor to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
