Connie Renee Smith Piper Gibbs passed away on Monday September 16, 2013, at 5:05 a.m. at Memorial Hospital after a 2 year battle with Hopkins Lymphoma (cancer).
She enjoyed her pomeranians and casinos very much. Her life consisted of her granddaughter, Brooklyn Piper and her children, Matthew (Abby Watts) and Amber Piper (Charles Roberts). She left behind her sisters, Jo Ann Havard, Bobbie Havard, and Julie Havard and her brother, Billy Havard; as well as several nieces, nephews, and several friends and other family members.
She left this world and joined in Heaven her mother, Lillie Mae Smith and her father, Robert E. Smith; as well as her biological mother, Betty Havard. She also joined her grandmothers and grandfathers in Heaven and we know she is having a blast.
The release of her cremated remains will be held on the beach in the Gulfport area on Wednesday September 18, 2013, and other arrangements will be held in Alabama where she lived all of her life. She will be missed dearly.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, assisted the family with arrangements.
