Connie Boyd

Constance “Connie” Boyd, age 86 of Gulfport, MS, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Gulfport.

Connie was born on May 14, 1939, in Los Angeles, California. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker, who helped run her husband’s business, Boyd Electric, for almost 50 years. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. Connie never missed an opportunity to celebrate her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Nadine Goodheart, her husband, Norman Boyd, and her son, Jeffrey Boyd.

Connie is survived by her sister, Sharron Morrison; son, Robert Boyd (Melinda), daughter, Betty Britt (Leann Harper-Moe), and stepson, Timothy Boyd (Tammy); grandchildren, Taylor Cuevas (Roy), Tanner Boyd, Dylan Moe, Austin Moe, Jase Britt, and Philip Galamore; great grandchildren, Indie and Emma Cuevas; and numerous family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 10:30 - 12 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.  The funeral service will be held at 12 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery. 

A special thanks is extended to the staff at St. Joseph Hospice and The Carpenter House of Gulfport.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to The St. Joseph Foundation, 1240 Broad Ave, Gulfport, 39501.
