Colonel Lewis J. (Doc) Partridge, USAF Retired, a resident of Spanish Fort, AL and a former resident of Biloxi, died on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the age of 97.
After a distinguished career of 30 years in the United States Air Force, Doc enjoyed a lengthy retirement playing golf, listening to and collecting music from the Big Band Era, and most of all, spending great times with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by Jean, his beloved wife of 67 years, his son Stephen, his daughter Suzanne, and his grandson Douglas. He is survived by his daughter Sarah, grandchildren Bradley and Jamie, and great-grandchildren Stephen, Stella, Sonya, Sylvia, Scarlett, Matylda and Carter, and his daughter-in-law Nancy.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3rd at the Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Westminster Village Foundation, Spanish Fort, AL, or to a Veteran's service organization of your choice.
The family also wishes to express sincere thanks to the entire staff of Westminster Village for the outstanding environment, caring and kindness they provide their residents.
