Clydie Mae Bruney, age 79, of Gulfport, MS passed away at Azaela Gardens Nursing Center, Wiggins, MS on December 8, 2014 at 9:45pm.
She was born in Haynesville, LA on February 16, 1935 to C. D. Foster and Ruthie Lane (Stewart) Foster. They both preceded her in death as well as her son, Richard Aaron Bruney of Longview, TX.
She is survived by her brother, Bobby Ray Foster of Benton, LA; her daughter, Crystal Cathy Schossow (Bennett) and son in law, Carl Edwin Schossow of Saucier, MS; granddaughters, Autumn Eve (Schossow) Toms of Gulfport and Rikki Diane Bruney of Chantilly, VA; grandson, Charles William Schossow of Saucier, MS; great grandsons, Robert Edwin Amey, Dennis Ryan Amey and Thomas Edward Amey; and great granddaughters, Brittney Mychelle Amey and Kristina Lynn Amey of Milton, FL.
Clydie Mae was a very strong willed woman with a high sense of determination. She had a knack for doing it all. She worked on building ships at Ingall's Shipyard, she cooked for crew members of Tidewater Inc, for boats replenishing oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, sold insurance, hairdresser, handyman, gardener, and home deÌcor. She knew no boundaries and didn't accept the words ""I can't"". She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Louisiana at a later date.
