Clyde Michael Cuevas, born on May 2, 1954, in Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on January 20, 2026, in Kiln, Mississippi. He lived a dedicated life, spending his career as a carpenter, a craft that showcased his skill and commitment to hard work. Clyde had a genuine love for spending time with family and friends, cherishing the moments that brought them together.
He is survived by his loving siblings: Freda Gruys and her husband Craig, Gayle Malley and her husband EJ, Beverly Ladner and her husband Jimmy, Myra Necaise and her husband Donnie, and Karen Andrews. Clyde also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who brought him joy: Anthony Holden and his wife, Jeanna of Kiln, Michael Holden of Kiln, Rhonda Taylor and her husband Frank of Louisiana, Darwin Holden of Kiln, and Chris Walker of Saucier.
Clyde joins his beloved parents, Earl Cuevas and Coral Ladner Cuevas, and his siblings who have passed on before him: Joann Holden, Richard Cuevas, Clinton Cuevas, Warren Cuevas, Marilyn Stuebe, Maxine Tartavoulle, Earl "Mickey" Joseph Cuevas, Jr., and Earline Cuevas, as well as his nephew Bruce Holden.
A burial service will be held on January 27, 2026, at St. Joseph @ Rotten Bayou in Diamondhead, Mississippi, beginning at 2:00 PM. Clyde will be remembered for his craftsmanship, his kindness, and the love he had for those around him.
