Cleyton Ladner

Cleyton John Ladner, 81, of Pass Christian, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

He was preceded in death by an infant baby brother; his parents, Lacy and Rena Northrup Ladner; his mother-in-law, Georgian Shavers; a son, Kirby Ladner, a sister, Verta Lee Lambert; a grandson, David Scarborough; and a great grandson, Sawyer Scarborough.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ella Mae Ladner; his children, Timmy Ladner (Marci), Laney Ladner (Angela), Regina Scarborough (Brian), Stacy Ladner (Deanne), and Kirk Ladner (Christy); his brother, Bill Ladner (Sharen); his grandchildren, Chris Ladner (Nina), Brittany Skok (Brad), Morgan Ladner, Jade Ladner, Dustin Lizana, Destany Viars (Bryan), Jarren Lizana, Rebecca Broussard, Raegan Ladner, Chelse Ladner, Bailey Ladner (Brennan Hoda, Jr.), Sean Storey, Justin Carver, Kaden Ladner (Karina), and Kolton Ladner; 28 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cleyton was a resident of Pass Christian, Mississippi. He worked as a welder for several companies. He enjoyed horseback riding, rabbit hunting, fishing, horses, Bantam chickens, cows. He was a good ole country boy.

The family would like to thank Tammie Cuevas for all she has done while taking care of Cleyton.

Pallbearers will be Chris Ladner, Jarren Lizana, Kaden Ladner, Brennan Hoda, Jr., Raeden "Cale" Ladner, Breyton Hoda, Mason Lizana, and Sean Storey. Honorary pallbearers will be Revyn Moran, Blantyn Viars, and Blayton Viars.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 9 - 11 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571.  The funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Wolf River Cemetery.
