Claude Victor "Doc" Perrier

Claude Victor ""Doc"" Perrier, Jr. died on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 of lung cancer at his home in Pass Christian, Mississippi. He was 84 years old. Mr. Perrier was born in New Orleans and attended Jesuit High School and Loyola University. He lived in New Orleans until he retired and moved to Pass Christian.
Mr. Perrier was preceded in death by his parents, Inez Steiner Perrier and Dr. Claude Victor Perrier, his granddaughter, Lucille Rhodes Perrier and his sister, Marie Louise Perrier Baudean.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Alice Henican Perrier; four sons, Claude Victor Perrier, III and Daniel O'Callaghan Perrier of Houston, Texas, James Murray Perrier and Guy Dugue Perrier of New Orleans; three daughters, Margaret Perrier Helling of Hickory, North Carolina, Elizabeth Cleveland Perrier of Houston, Texas and Julie Perrier Shugar of San Francisco, California; three sisters, Inez Perrier Grieshaber of Covington, Louisiana, Joan Perrier Perret of Crofton, Maryland and Karen Perrier McGoey of New Orleans and numerous grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, 228 South Beach Boulevard in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Visitation at the church will begin at 1:00 p.m.
