Clarence Pujol

Clarence George "Papa C" Pujol, age 82, of DeLisle, passed away peacefully in his home on May 6, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Pujol and Alena Carvin and her second husband, Pete Carvin; his sister, Florence Harshbarger; 2 brothers, Alfred Pujol, Jr. and Joe Pujol; and 1 great-grandson, Ayden Seth LaFrance.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Donna L. Pujol; his children, Sheila Firth, Rickey Pujol (Sharon), Robbie Ann Johnson (Danny), Terrie Ramsey (Rev. Mike), Bridget LaFrance (Jay), Melissa Dunn (Bobby), and Angie Necaise (Bo); a sister, Lillian Ferguson; 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Pujol was a native and lifelong resident of DeLisle.  He retired from Brown and Root Contractors at DuPont Chemical Plant and he was a volunteer and founder of the DeLisle Fire Dept and Diamondhead Fire Dept.  He served in the MS Army National Guard during his young years.  He enjoyed Cruzin the Coast each year and Cruise-Ins with the Misfit Cruisers where he was an active member and he enjoyed working on and restoring antique cars, boating, and fishing.  He was a devout Christian and was a member of Central Bible Church.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He was loved and respected and all who knew him knew that God and his family was his life.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 9:30 - 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  The funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in the New DeLisle Cemetery.
